I also developed an RNA epigenome sequencing data processing package “exomePeak” coupled with existing tools (Tophat, cufflinks, Samtools and IGV) for detecting and representing the RNA modification sites.

Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Computational Genomics & Proteomics Lab under supervision of Dr. Yufei Huang, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).  During this period, I mainly worked the brain-computer interface project focusing on the analysis of Electroencephalography (EEG) data under RSVP paradigms. We mainly investigated the variability of neural response to stimulus and proposed a more robust classifier for more realistic scenarios especially when the accurate stimulus onset time is unavailable.
